BTC is Western New York's most successful MMA gym. With Pro fighters and grapplers as coaches, you cannot receive any better instruction. Proof of our success is found in our amateur MMA team who has been cleaning up all of the local competition.
Buffalo Training Center's grappling program is the heart of the gym. Lead by Professor Omar Salvosa of (Toronto), BTC is Team Ascension's New York Affiliate. Team Ascension is the most dominant BJJ team in the northeast dominating and placing high in tournaments in Montreal, Toronto, Ontario, New York, and Pennsylvania.
Not everyone at BTC is a competitor. However, we all train together as a team. Many people at BTC come just to stay in shape and learn a great style of self defense.
BTC also runs a fantastic sports conditioning class, and trains members of the Buffalo Bisons Baseball team.
